no money needed. Just plenty of shit talking will do. Actually, bring a few people to talk shit so we can have useless conversations instead of racing or constructively promoting our sport/hobby.

Coz did it ever occur to you that some people road race theirs or just enjoy owning the car? Can't just talk abou drag racing dude. Come to an actual meet and you'll see what we are talking about. The picnic isn't the only get together we have. Everytime I invite you, you always have "something else to do" and "maybe next time". Don't deny it. You've done it. Stop whining and show up to one of these meet we throw

he we go again talking about drag racing!!! I named three tracks, and only one of them was a drag race track. Two of them are road race tracks. Btw, I totally respect the road race crowd! Only problem is there are too few of them actually on here, with the exception of TurboMike and a few others whom I do not know so well, who actually do it.

I've been to all the meets. Hooters, Cunnigham Park, Picnics, Dyno meets etc... I've been to all the meets! Where's the racing? Where are the results? Where is the performance? Where is all the talk that is posted on here actually taking place? Apparently just on here, 'cause nobody with the exception of a very few, is actually out there in reality.

On your other point, it does occurr to me that some people simply are on here just 'cause they enjoy their car. But if you are on here just because you enjoy the car, then don't give bad advice. You know, like the kind you find on blogs, myspace, youtube etc... If you give advice, give it from experience, from results that you actually experienced yourself, not just stuff you see on a computer or a website. Very few people on here have first hand knowledge of almost what they post.

If you enjoy the car and don't race, I can see giving maintenance tips or upgrade tips etc... But to argue about metalurgy, parts you've never had, tubo's you've never owend, or performance you've never experienced, is really a waste of everyone's time.

There are people on this forum who race very often. Some of us race a whole lot more than you and Gary. But just because its not a thread made about it every other week, it doesnt mean its not happening. And that is not a knock or stab at you guys but you can't assume that people dont race around here because you just dont know.

Also some guys on here build cars to be nice daily drivers. Others do it just so they look nice. There are very few guys on here that actually care about racing. Very few. The majority just care about going fast from a to b. But there is nothing wrong with that imo.

Edit- I used to think just like you. I always used to say that no one races around here and its true but the fact is, people build these cars for diffrent reasons. On top of that, dsms are junk and break every 2 seconds. People can't afford to bring it to a shop and have them build a turn key race car. Not saying you or Gary do but you have to factor that in as well. Lots of guys are working in the street, back yards and any other place you can think of.

Just my thoughts.

Coz, You know I am offended. All you do is pull out your dick and show us it. Just because we cant do that, you should NOT smack us in the face with it.

Jeez. You know plenty of guys go to the rockin CT, upstate rally and do other forms of racing instead of drag racing. Smile You are such a meanie.

Now lets go back to

wow this is a great thread.

maybe some raced more than gary but i would beg to differ with cos.

mitsu day at etown i probably seen two guys from this club there.
ohio probably seen 0 from this crowd

if you guys consider street racing as a count then fine. street racing doesn't show and def result of what you have done to your vehicle just making the other guy feel bad if you beat him with less stuff done than yours.

I agree... I have raced at every mitsu day since it began in 03 I believe except last year because I didn't have a car. Only person there with me every year is seahorse.I think I seen Gary one year where he ran the 9? I have seen a few other people run over the years but in general the nyc showing is horrible. Guess people like to come watch...
